November 4, 2011 - Obayashi would like to express its deepest condolences to the victims of the flood in Thailand. To support the affected areas, the Obayashi Group donates 100 million yen for the relief and recovery efforts.

Thai Obayashi, a subsidiary of Obayashi Corporation, is currently doing its best to assist the fastest recovery, and Obayashi Group will continue to provide as much aid as possible.

"Massive flood due to unprecedented heavy rainfall for the first time in 50 years has continued to spread across 26 provinces including Bangkok among 77 provinces in Thailand, resulting in extensive damage and loss of life.

We would like to provide support and express our best wishes for the earliest possible recovery as a member of Thai society as well as a corporate citizen," said Sompong Cintawongvanich, the president of Thai Obayashi and executive officer of Obayashi Corporation.
